Our Response

Based upon guidance from healthcare authorities, Home Medical Products, Inc. & its Affiliates (“HMP”) has implemented protocols to help reduce spread the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses during this time. This abundance of caution is taken in the spirit of protecting and caring for our patients and employees. We remain dedicated to serving you during this time.

Changes include:

  • Patient Screenings are conducted for every patient prior to any appointment or visit.
  • We are no longer accepting visitors in our offices (effective March 12, 2020).
  • Curbside Delivery is available to patients at all of our locations.
  • Virtual Visits are available to reduce in-home and in-office visits.
  • Front Door Delivery is an option to reduce in-home visitors.
  • Dropship Delivery is available to reduce in-home and in-office visits.

If you (or someone in your household or someone you’ve had physical contact with directly) are sick, have fever, have respiratory illness symptoms, have traveled internationally within the last 14 days, or have traveled to a place of ongoing COVID-19 outbreak within the last 14 days, then we may reschedule your appointment or determine if we can make alternate accommodations for you to receive products and services at your home.

Delivery &  Set-up Options


We offer curbside delivery to the patient’s vehicle. When patients arrive, they should remain in their vehicle and call the local office.  Our staff will deliver to the patient's vehicle when ready or will contact the patient to come inside.

If in-office setup is necessary, the PATIENT ONLY is allowed inside; accompanying guests must wait in their vehicle during the visit.


We will contact patients directly to schedule a virtual visit when we receive an order or before the next scheduled appointment. If an in-home visit is required, our representatives will let you know how to proceed.

Virtual visits can be conducted in a variety of ways, and we will work with you depending on the devices you have available.  


Except where the product or service requires us to enter the home, we are performing "Front-Door Deliveries" to limit the number of visitors and exposure within the home for our patients.

In these cases, our Delivery Technician goes over everything with the patient at your front door in a concise and socially-distant manner.


We can drop-ship products for delivery via the postal service or other carriers. Many of our patients already receive their products via drop-ship, especially our PAP patients.  These existing drop-ship services will continue. 

In addition, we are now drop-shipping many other products to patients, and where the product requires, we will conduct a Virtual Visit with the patient after they have the product.
